Statement of Belief

Life for Bangladesh is not a church, we operate alongside and in support of local churches. Our commitment extends to serving communities across all Christian denominations, as well as reaching out to those who are unchurched. Our multifaceted mission encompasses youth work, conferences, education, church and school building, and relief programs.

We are inclusive, in welcoming all who follow Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, and share our intentionally simple statement of belief. Our mission is to spread the good news, avoiding doctrinal debates which can detract from our missional calling. Together, we focus on the task of saving the lost.

Our beliefs are rooted in the essentials of Christianity, expressed in simple terms:

God’s Love and Redemption:

• We believe that God loves us unconditionally. He demonstrated this love by sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins.
• Through His sacrifice, we find forgiveness and reconciliation with God.
• Jesus’ resurrection assures us of victory over sin and eternal life.

Jesus as Fully God and Man:

• We affirm that Jesus of Nazareth, as revealed in Scripture, is fully God and equal with the Father.
• We anticipate His return to judge the living and the dead.

The Holy Spirit’s Guidance:

• We recognize the Holy Spirit as our guide and the one who empowers us.
• He equips us to live out our faith and share the gospel effectively.
